How do wagering requirements work?

Bonuses usually come with a wagering requirement: you need to bet the bonus amount a set number of times (e.g. 5×) at a minimum odds threshold before it can be withdrawn. Always read the full terms and conditions.

Tennis bonuses come in a few common shapes: bet-and-get offers, deposit matches and free bets tied to a specific match or tournament. A typical welcome offer might turn a $20 qualifying bet into $60 of free bets once the Australian Open or Wimbledon draw is out, though the value of any bonus depends entirely on the wagering requirement attached to it. Odds quoted anywhere on this page are for guidance only, and betting is strictly 18+: gamble responsibly.

How wagering requirements work

A wagering requirement (also called a rollover) sets how many times you must bet the bonus amount, or sometimes the bonus plus deposit, before you can withdraw any winnings. A 5x requirement on a $50 free bet means you need to place $250 in total wagers first. Odds also matter: most bookmakers apply a minimum odds rule, often around 1.50 to 1.80, so a bet on a heavy favourite at 1.20 won't count toward clearing the bonus. Check the maximum bet size too, since many terms cap contributing stakes at $10 or $20 per bet. Read the small print on eligible markets: some sites exclude in-play tennis bets from the wagering calculation, which stretches out how long it takes to clear the offer.
